BAND DIRECTOR >
Janine Delwarte has earned her B.A. at California State University, Northridge and her M.A. at California Institute of the Arts, both degrees are in music education and performance. Janine is the director of “The Conejo Valley Summer Music Camp” and the “Elementary Instrumental Music Coordinator” for the district. She has performed throughout the world as a professional musician in all styles of music. Miss Janine brings a broad musical perspective to her students.
All Interested Students in Grades 4 & 5 may choose from the flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, trombone or percussion.
Each semester is 4 months, two semesters a year

ALL DISTRICT BAND FESTIVAL
We are proud to offer this special concert in cooperation with the Conejo Schools Foundation, Alliance for the Arts, the City of Thousand Oaks, the Arts Council of the Conejo Valley, Conejo Unified School District and the Conejo Recreation & Park District, providing our students with an exceptional opportunity to perform in a unique, and inspirational venue.
Students will perform in a culmination of Elementary School, Middle School, and High School band programs.
STRINGS DIRECTOR >
Mrs. Martone is an accomplished freelance violinist, recording artist, live performer and educator in the Los Angeles and Conejo Valley areas. She holds a bachelor’s degree in String Performance from Cal State Northridge where she specialized in Violin. In addition to her performing career, she is a passionate string teacher at multiple schools in the CVUSD including Westlake Elementary where she has taught since 2017.
Presented through the cooperative efforts of The Arts Council of the Conejo Valley, Conejo Valley Unified School District, and The Conejo Recreation & Park District.
