Welcome Back, Wizards!

Dear Westlake Elementary Families,  

We hope you’re having a wonderful and relaxing summer and cannot wait to welcome you back to campus! The PFA is a 501(c) non-profit organization that supports WLE by planning community-building events and raising funds. These funds, raised primarily through our Direct Donation Program, help pay for critical programs and staff, including art, music, dance, PE, STEM lab, assemblies, campus supervisors, and much more. 

 

Westlake Elementary’s suggested donation is $325 per student, which comes to $1.80 per school day. Not only is this one of the lowest requests in CVUSD and surrounding areas, but we do very minimal fundraising outside of this campaign (no candy or wrapping paper sales—phew!).  We hope for 100% participation and welcome donations of any size.

Back to School Checklist ​

• If you are a new family, all students will need to purchase an Earthquake Kit ($10) 

• ALL students grades 2-5 are asked to purchase an assignment notebook ($10)

• Make your tax-deductible donation 

• Check if your employer supports a Corporate Matching Program
