Q:   Can I ever make a Left Turn leaving the cul-de-sac on MARGATE PL during the hours of 8-10 and 2-4?

 

A:    NO. There are signs posted and we need to keep that intersection clear for the drop-off or pick-up line. You need to continue past the school and make a left at the next intersection, CAMBERWELL PL or TRAFALGAR PL. When possible, continue on to TRAFALGAR PL. to help reduce gridlock.

Q:   Can I make a left turn onto MARGATE PL leaving the front of the school after dropping off or picking up my child in the carline during the hours of 8-8:30 AM and 2:30-3 PM.

 

A:    NO. You need to make a Right turn on MARGATE PL like the sign says and continue to the next intersection, CAMBERWELL PL or TRAFALGAR PL. When possible, continue on to TRAFALGAR PL. to help reduce gridlock.

Q:   Can I make a u-turn on E. POTRERO from a curbside parked position?

 

A:    NEVER. It is illegal to make a u-turn from a parked position. You must drive at least 30 feet and can make a turn once the double yellow line breaks.

Q.   If I am a Kindergarten parent, can I park my car in the front main pick-up line?

 

A:    NO. This curb needs to stay clear.

Q.   If I am a Kindergarten parent, can I meet my child at my car in the main pick-up line?

 

A:    NO. All TK and Kindergarten parents must pick-up their child from the front gate.

Q:   How much can these tickets cost?

 

A:    Unfortunately some of our parents have received tickets of $300 or more.
